Whatever got you here - my books, magazine articles or newspaper columns; an interest in gay and lesbian rights (especially support for gay youth); soccer; Brown University, Staples High School or Westport, Connecticut - doesn't really matter. I've listed some of my passions above; others include progressive politics, history, crossword puzzles, trivia and travel. And of course, as a child of the '60s, I like listenin' to that good old rock 'n' roll. (Yep: Cat Mother and the All-Night Newsboys.)

As a freelance writer, I'm always looking for new projects. As a national speaker on the topics of gay issues and soccer, I'm always seeking out audiences (check out the button on the left: "Hire Dan Woog"!). As a human being, I'm always hoping to meet new people. I hope this website helps me in all those ways. But the Internet works in two directions.
